Hi. I’m Kane, and this is my blog. Obviously.

Well, actually, it’s my other blog. My first blog page, Organic Defect, was designed to give my sense of humour a bit of a creative outlet. It allows me to be as absurd as I like, and it has helped me, in no uncertain terms, to reconnect with my love of writing. The only downside to a page like Organic Defect is that it is terminally light hearted, and refuses to be even remotely serious. As a blog, it is well within its rights to define itself as such, and I will respect that.

As a writer, however, I find it difficult to always tap into the ridiculous. Sometimes there is a need for the serious and melencholy. These things have no place within the realm of Organic Defect. Thus the need for Corpulent Destiny.

Corpulent Destiny is not happy. It is not jovial. It is the place where those little demons sometimes lurk. It is for times when the story can’t hide behind a smile. It is for when I need to write about the darker side of light.

Right, so, as of 19/10/2010, this blog is going to become all of the above, and a little bit more. Here, I am going to write about stuff. Stuff in general, stuff in particular, stuff that’s happy or sad or angry or stupid. Stuff about what happens in the organic thought factory that is my brain. So, get ready to… continue doing whatever you are currently doing.
